ABOUT ME

Prudence Brooks (she/her) is a tender and strange poet born in rural Indiana, now happily nestled among the pines of Portland, Oregon. A queer, disabled woman living with AuDHD, Prudence considers her poetic voice more than a passion — it is a form of unmasking in a world that commands her to assimilate. She is the author of two poetry collections, TRUCE and SAVED, and serves as the grubby-toed host of the Roach Reading Club on Patreon. Her work has appeared in Pile Press, Feral Journal of Poetry and Art, Eunoia Review, Querencia Press, Black Fox Literary Magazine, Grey Coven Publishing, and others. You can find her on Instagram @prudence.writes or explore her Patreon.
